Kera stared at it quietly.
Behind her, the lights of Ravine City reflected faintly across the canyon walls.
Above her, the stars burned through the thin Martian atmosphere.
And beneath her feet, the rhythm of the planet continued.
For the first time since humanity arrived on Mars...
The water did not disappear.
