Dani llega al lÃmite y se marcha de casa. Al fin es libre para vivir las clandestinas, excitantes e interminables noches electrónicas de Madrid: Voltereta. La FactorÃa. Aire. Provisional. Attica. Specka. New World... Y es feliz al descubrir que hay más gente que siente lo mismo que él.
Sin embargo, extrañas obsesiones se apoderan de su mente, y la sombra del suicidio le persigue mientras las bestias de la noche acechan a los más débiles...
Ahora la sala está abarrotada, y es difÃcil hacerse con un hueco. Los temazos se suceden, y cuando el DJ suelta el Age Of Love estoy seguro de que aquello va a estallar: las voces angelicales, el filtro resonante que va abriéndose paso y que parece que va a romperte los tÃmpanos y esa voz sensual (Come On, Dance With Me...!) están transportándome a otra dimensión de la que nunca querré volver. Decenas de silbidos y de gritos de la peña se funden con el tema, y ya no hay vuelta atrás.
Entonces encienden las luces, y el DJ lanza The Stand, de Joolz. Ahora (mientras escucho los chasquidos de dedos) es cuando veo los rostros agotados pero extasiados que me rodean; y cuanto más escucho la misteriosa voz femenina y esa especie de épicos violines, más deseo que esta noche nunca se acabe, aunque ya sean las tantas de la tarde.
Cinco minutos de éxtasis después la fiesta ha terminado. Las puertas se abren y el Infierno es invadido por el sol. Nos vamos... Pero el cielo debe existir, porque cuando ya enfilábamos la salida alguien entiende que nos marchábamos sin todo, y nos regala los teclados, la pandereta y la guitarra del Run With You de Midnight, y comprendo que justo en ese instante, en medio de los gritos, la excitación y la felicidad colectiva, mi vida ha alcanzado su cenit.
