Brown Hat is a rigger. He drives from community to community to help repair, build, and especially to maintain whatever the people need from him. He's made a name for himself over the years, and is regarded as one of the best around.
Unfortunately, Brown Hat is one of the few who can also see an entity only known as the Open. It haunts his travels, existing between him and the horizon. It begs to be searched for and seen, all the while causing those who stare too long to slowly disappear. But Brown Hat is a rigger, and riggers don't run away from problems. They confront them, no matter how daunting the solution may be.
