Have you ever been at a youth sporting event and felt like you needed noise-canceling headphones, needed to move away from spectators because of their behavior, or wanted to turn to the person next to you and remind them this is a youth sporting event.
If so, this book is for you.
Don't Be a Richard: A Field Guide for Youth Sporting Events is a hilarious and painfully accurate look at the chaos, comedy, and occasional emotional breakdowns that take place on the sidelines of youth sports across America.
Meet Richard, the overly intense sports parent who treats every youth game like the world championship, coaches from the sidelines, argues with referees, and believes his child is one missed goal away from a Division I scholarship.
Through humor, this book shines a spotlight on the behavior parents, coaches, and spectators witness every weekend at fields, courts, and gyms everywhere.
Perfect for:
- Sports parents
- Coaches
- Team gifts
- End-of-season parties
- Anyone who has ever sat near that parent at a game
Whether you're laughing, cringing, or quietly recognizing someone you know, Don't Be a Richard delivers a fun reminder that youth sports are supposed to be about kids learning, growing, and enjoying the game.
Buy a copy for yourself, and maybe an extra one for the Richard in your life.
