Donald's adventure begins when he dives into the largest known television screen in the world to follow his Senior Son-in-Law and escape the boring life of sitting behind a big oak desk in a big oval room signing his signature all day. He falls and crawls through a series of ever more bizarre worlds, in some way mirroring the druggish adventures of Alice, but in other ways as if he has become new programming on Videodrome. He turns into a blimp and floats out into space. A Russian giant holds him captive under an overturned glass and feeds him the livers of refugee children. Law enforcement agents who dove into the television on a rescue mission save him from the giant and join him on the rest of his adventures. He learns the international game of Ball Cheat, which proves disappointing, and briefly visits a world that is every shade of white, for which he remains nostalgic the rest of his life. An earthquake turns Donald and the lawmen into refugees, and before long they find themselves back in the hands of the giant. At first it seems they will be guests of honor at a banquet in the Kremlin, but after Donald meets his triplet brothers, Tweeterdee and Tweeterdummer (who always thought they were just twins), he learns that they are not guests but will be the hors d'oeuvres. Tweeterdee and Tweeterdummer, the lawmen and Senior Son-in-Law, along with a group of animals from Ball Cheat, rescue Tweeterdummest (Donald's new name) and escape into a mouse hole. After the Cheshire Cat's paw sends them flying deep behind the walls of the Kremlin, they find themselves in a dirty bathroom where hundreds of thousands are waiting to prosecute Donald for crime against humanity and sentence him to an eternity in Hell.
