Robert, alias Robby, still believes in love. He has somehow persuaded himself that Leila, famous loser of the televised 2006 Star & Strass Competition, is waiting for him to save her. So, when the aspiring young star makes a promotional appearance at the local supermarket, he decides to get things rolling for the two of them. Dany no longer believes in love. Her promotion, earned after sleeping with the manager of the supermarket where she works, is just not enough anymore. What's worse is that her supposed boyfriend Tattoo just got out of jail after an 18 month sentence and she feels strangely edgy. The problem is that this jerk and his brother have some rather scary plans, like robbing a bank for example. As fate, or just plain chance, would have it, Tattoo and his brother Beaver decide to hide from the police in the supermarket at nightfall. There they run into Dany and her boss, Leila and her agent, and of course, Robby. What could have been a simple huis clos turns into a hostage situation. But as the night progresses, all out war breaks out and no one is really sure who is the hostage and who is the criminal. And, as in all wars, there is a discount on life. Denis Bretin is the general secretary of the Festival d'Automne. He lives in Paris. Laurent Bonson is a journalist and translator who divides his time between Lyon and Luxembourg. He also works for the ARALD.
