Where are YOU going tonight?Dave, a recently divorced father of two young girls, has taken a second job delivering packages for a giant online retailer to make some much-needed extra coin. On a Thursday evening he sets out on his first shift, his only guidance provided by a powerful app downloaded onto his phone. But Dave is entering a world of pain, to borrow from one of his favorite films. At his first stop, a strange dude with a bandaged foot asks him to deliver something else to a friend of his across the street: a well-read, hardcover edition of Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising. Dave reluctantly agrees - a choice he soon wishes he could have back. For readers craving a wild ride that's one-third thriller, one-third dark comedy, and one-third existential ramble - with a fuel injection of Metallica's Master of Puppets - you have arrived at your destination.
