I have just finished this book, full of suspense and difficult to put down! Reviewer
W. Bradford Swift's Dominion Over All is a delight. Both youth and adult readers can relate to young Zak's rite of passage into an adventurer's life. ReviewerDespite running his own zoo, Zak Bates considers himself pretty normal for a thirteen-year-old. Visited by Ra-Kit, a scruffy feline with some serious catnip issues, he's ill-prepared for the life-or-death assignment that follows. With the weight of the world on his shoulders, Zak must represent the Animal Kingdom at a United Nations Conference on Global Warming, convince the world government to stop poisoning the planet, broker interspecies peace, and diffuse an impending, bloody rebellion-just a bit harder than algebra!
A call to arms, to wings and fins...
An eloquent environmental message for our times!
Dominion Over All is Book I of the Zak Bates Eco-Adventure Series- novels for animal lovers of all ages and especially for those who wish to preserve Earth's beauty.
Young Boy and his dog, a Magic Cat, a Flying Dog, and a poisoned world, what more can you ask for? This was a delight to read, kept me turning the pages, and waiting to see how it all would come together. My 8yr old, 13yr old, and even 15yr old, enjoyed the story. Reviewer
This is a wonderful story of adventure as Zak, with the help of his new friends, finds the strength within himself to do what he never thought possible. ReviewerDon't miss any of the adventures of the eco-team that include:
- Ra-Kit's Initiation, a prequel to the Zak Bates Eco-adventure series
- Dominion Over All,
- Endangered,
- Ghost Elephant, and
- Junkyard Dogs
