Two dolphins. One crashed sleigh. A Christmas only they can save.
In the warm waters surrounding Hawaii, two dolphin best friends named Ho'olana and Nai'a love everything about Christmas. They decorate their ocean home, bake ono cookies, write letters to Santa, and dream of one day pulling his magical sleigh.
But when a terrible Christmas Eve storm sends Santa's sleigh crashing into the sea, the holiday is suddenly in danger. Santa's reindeer are too frightened to fly, and all the presents have scattered across the ocean, lost among the sand, the reefs, the caves, and the deepest waters below. With the help of their surfer friend 'Alepoi and a gentle humpback whale named Kohala, Nai'a and Ho'olana set off on a daring rescue mission, using their special echolocation to search every puka in the sea. But the ocean is vast, the night is dark, and time is running out for children everywhere.
Can two little dolphins find every last present and help Santa deliver them before Christmas morning? The Dolphins That Saved Christmas is a joyful, Hawaiian-inspired holiday adventure filled with friendship, bravery, and the magic of believing in your biggest dreams. Sprinkled with Hawaiian language and island spirit, this picture book is perfect for keiki ages 4 to 8. Mele Kalikimaka!
