This epic story tells of a girl/woman living half of her life in Jamaica and the other half in the United States off and on during her young life up until the current. The story tells tales of her molestation bought on by her father, as well as the stripper life, hard times, marriage, abortion...and the list goes on. Her vision of the past is blurry, and therefore brings on unedited short stories in each chapter going back and forth from present to past and in-between to whatever is remembered at the moment in time of writing the book, causing confusion which represents the true turmoil she has been feeling throughout her life.
