Actually, if she had not fallen and broken her hip, I feel that she would have lived to be 100. I managed her care long distance for those nine years, traveling from Georgia to Virginia every month to check on her and the caregivers, replenish everything in the house, etc. I had made her a promise that I would keep her in her home until she died if at all possible and I was able to do that.
