In a quiet yard, a brave gray cat named Momma Logan teaches what it means to belong. When she arrives hungry but hopeful, a simple act of kindness turns a backyard into a welcome place for cats who come from everywhere; some bold, some shy, all needing safety and care. As the family grows, they learn gentle rules: share, listen, be kind, and help.

Dear Mayor Grump, All Cats Welcome is a warm, beautifully illustrated picture book about kindness, community, and choosing to welcome others. Inspired by a true story and all real cats, this book invites children and adults alike to imagine how small acts of compassion can create spaces where everyone belongs.
