This is based on a true story. All the animals are real and these characters were based on personality. Millie really did steal the bacon, but of course Ma and Pa would have never believed it-she is such a sweetie. But according to all the other animals, that is the last thing they believe. It was fun being all of them to write this book. There is a lot of meaning; lessons about being greedy, stealing, having a conscience, being remorseful, and love. There is sadness, as well as funny and serious lessons to be learned about doing something you know you should not. Thank you for taking the time to read this. * * * The transcript that I read is very educational to children and also grabs the attention of the adult. I feel the book would make a great Disney movie. J. Frank Hart Clarke County, Va. What a clever way to teach and enjoy a really good story. I see a cool movie being made, animated or real, it works!! Susie Smith Centreville, Va. Most people in this world do not answer their calling, hooray to Tracey, my friend for pursuing her dream. Deena Van Ryzin Purcellville, Va. Watching my mother write this transcript was a beautiful journey. When I read it, it took my imagination and I could definitely see it on the big screen someday. I am so very proud of the work that she has accomplished and what it will do for others. Ashley Morris Jefferson County, West Va.
