Dandelion Child

Fingers picking off cuticles
Scabs, scratch mosquito bites
Until red hot blood breaks
Your tender skin
They call you difficult
Dreamer
Absentminded

Dandelion Child is a collection of poetry, reflections, and flash fiction primarily written between 2020 and 2022. Some of the pieces are my experiences, and others reflect stories I have heard from others.

Jessika O'Sullivan lives outside New York City and writes poetry, short stories, and novels in Swedish and English. She is a trauma survivor who struggles with mental health issues but seeks to give voice to fellow survivors.
