SAS Trooper Thomas Dekker, in Liverpool for the funeral of his Regimental mentor, is arrested for the murder of a man he's never met. Faced with a lack of evidence, the police are forced to release him under investigation. He returns to his mentor's home where kids from a local street gang try to steal the dead man's motorcycle. Shots are fired, a woman is killed. For the second time in twelve hours, Dekker is questioned by police who believe the shootings are connected and that he is the common factor. Using his specialist skillset, Dekker fights to clear his name. But with a corrupt police officer and a homicidal County Lines gang boss after him, he finds himself fighting alone against a dangerous and implacable enemy where only his training and relentless drive for justice will save him.
