CORRIDOR
Book Two of The Spirale Trilogy
The signal was never a transmission. It was a conversation.
Months after the extraordinary events beneath La Maison Violette, the corridor has fallen silent. The chamber is dormant. The impossible should be over.
It isn't.
Claire Violette begins experiencing unexplained episodes that defy every medical explanation she can devise. Sarah Haldane, whose decade of monitoring mysterious signals has led her to the threshold of a truth beyond conventional science, discovers that the phenomenon she has been studying was never simply a pattern to be observed. Hidden wartime archives, forgotten notebooks, and classified records reveal that generations have been quietly preparing for what comes next.
As old allies reunite and new players emerge, the search expands beyond the quiet French village where everything began. From Cambridge archives and Cheltenham monitoring stations to Belgian estates, occupied France, and secrets buried beneath stone for nearly a century, every discovery points towards a startling revelation: the corridor is not a machine that changes history, but a living system that distinguishes between observation and interference, memory and manipulation, witness and participant.
Yet others are searching too.
Some believe the corridor represents the greatest scientific breakthrough in history. Others see it as the ultimate weapon. Hidden agendas, Cold War legacies, wartime betrayals, and modern intelligence operations converge as a centuries-long pattern begins to reveal its true design. The closer they come to understanding the corridor, the more dangerous that understanding becomes.
At its heart lies a profound question: if the past can be witnessed without being changed, what responsibility belongs to those who have seen it?
Blending speculative science, historical mystery, espionage, and philosophical suspense, CORRIDOR deepens the mythology of The Spirale Trilogy while exploring memory, conscience, sacrifice, and the fragile boundary between knowing and interfering. Richly atmospheric and meticulously researched, it is a story where every choice leaves an echo, every observer becomes part of the pattern, and the greatest mysteries are not about changing history, but understanding why it unfolds as it does.
For readers who enjoy intelligent speculative fiction, CORRIDOR is a haunting journey through time, history, and the enduring power of human witness.
