The books in the Series deal with one or more of the following themes: (1) the teachings of the Church, (2) the Christian way of life, and (3) our Catholic worship (including both public and private prayers and devotions). Each book also carries the Imprimatur, assuring that the contents are in line with Church teaching.
Among the features of this book are:
Each line of the Our Father teaches us something special about our faith. For example, when we say Give us this day our daily bread, we are asking God to provide for our needs, not just food but also His love and guidance. Coloring books help bring these words to life. As children color pictures that match each part of the prayer, like hands folded in prayer or bread for the Eucharist, they can think about what the words mean and how they apply to their own lives. Coloring is a creative way to make the prayer more personal and memorable. It helps children slow down, reflect, and connect with God. Through the simple act of coloring, they can learn that prayer is not just about saying words but also about trusting in God and feeling His love.
Using coloring books to learn the Our Father is a joyful way to understand this beautiful prayer. It reminds children that God is always listening and that they are His precious children.
