The story is about an out of work family man named CALEB, who wants a better life for his wife and daughter and has dreams of getting out of a crime ridden town. However, a debilitating back injury caused by a horrific workplace accident has made it impossible to secure legitimate work. The only respite available is some dubious casual work through a contact of Caleb's brother-in-law. Caleb meets the contact, DWIGHT, a silver tongued and menacing urban-cowboy. Soon, Caleb is helping to smuggle people and drugs across the U.S. and Mexican border. Caleb's troubles worsen when Dwight's devious intentions towards Caleb's wife, put him on a path for revenge. Caleb's subsequent actions force Caleb to promptly get his family out alive and evade the police and the wrath of the cartel. With a gripping storyline, high stakes and universal themes, Campfire is sure to appeal to a very wide audience.
