They almost always win. Almost.
His daughter, Mia, has been noticing things her whole life. While the world sleeps, she follows the thread her father left behind - down the Amazon, into the dead heart of the machine, to a fading man on a riverbank who tells her the oldest truth there is: the door was never locked, and her father is the lock, and she may be the only key left.
