The Crown and the Cup: A History Weaver Story, Book 4
Suffering.
Every life contains it; some more than others.
And the question naturally arises, If God, why suffering?
Glory through suffering.
It's the Bible's answer to, If God is good, how can there be suffering? Or, How can suffering be worth it in the end?
But how does it work?
Hearing the life story of their elderly neighbour, our Beaver Row friends begin wrestling with these deeper questions as growing and maturing brings with it new life-experiences-some of them hard ones.
Beaver Row is experiencing its own growing pains as illegal drug use is on the rise in the seemingly-sleepy little town. But is the rise unplanned? Or part of something darker?
Suspicion falls on a visiting doctor when a supply of addictive painkillers goes missing from Beaver Row's Dogwood Medical Clinic. But the girls of the writing club (rapidly turning into a detective club) are convinced of his innocence and set out to discover what's really going on.
