The Committee Wars is a coming of age, dystopian, science fiction, action novel set in the near future after the United State's second civil war. The slow burning fuse that ignited this great divorce was lit by the man made, 2020 global pandemic and the resulting test for social compliance and domination.

Those that made it through their treacherous road-trip to the Smith Committee learn to question everything they thought to be true. Simon, grandson of Colonel Greer, hero of the first Committee Wars, has arrived to the Smith Committee and begins his true education. He learns how much he didn't know. If he hopes to survive and become a part of something larger than himself, he must confront his own self-imposed limitations.
Simon and his friends join premilitary training as part of a new program that teaches young teens to prepare for military service. They are molded, enlightened and shocked by their new understanding of the world and their place in it. Guided every step by their new enigmatic leader, Joseph Youssef.
