Commercial activity by schoolchildren is a recurrent phenomenon in Ouagadougou and is explained by several factors. To this end, our study has enabled us to understand the different motivations that lead schoolchildren to engage in CA. At the end of our study, we can say that socio-economic and political factors are the causes of the practice of CA by schoolchildren during the vacations in Ouagadougou. The social factors of commercial activity are household size, marital status and regime; the economic factors are professional situation and school needs. Political factors are ignorance of legal texts on child labor and the education system.
