Meet Blessed, a tiny pure-white donkey born in the
quiet Middle-Eastern village of Bethphage. Born deaf,
she grows up on a hillside with her gentle young master,
Judah. From the day she was born, Judah loves her dearly,
especially when other, larger donkeys kick and bite at her.
Though she cannot hear Judah's voice, Blessed feels his

Blessed and her mother, Bell, for an unusual mission....to transport a man by the name of Jesus to the great temple in Jerusalem. On the journey, the streets of the great city are lined with multitudes of people who Blessed
can see waving palm branches and looking joyful. From the first moment Jesus and his followers had met Blessed and her
master, Judah, He had sensed that Blessed could not hear. So....as a gift
to Blessed, compassionate Jesus uses his Master's touch
to gift her with hearing. Later, upon hearing her master, Judah's voice,
Blessed discovers a new world filled with sound and joy.
Her story reminds readers that Jesus sees and loves
even the smallest and most overlooked, and
that kindness can transform lives in
ways never imagined.
