Colt asked for and was given a ninety day medical leave from the NSA. The head of NSA agreed that the man probably needed that long to mentally deal with seeing his fiance beheaded by terrorists. What they didn't know was he wanted the time off to go to Syria and find the terrorist leader who had orchestrated the terrorist attacks in Miami and rid him from the land of the living. Though Colt intended to accomplish that task on his own, he was joined by four other ex-soldiers who had lost a good friend or family member because of this main terrorist leader. Their mission was not sanctioned by the U.S. Military, NSA, or any other agency; so they were almost totally on their own. However, they did have one friend who made sure they were well armed and kept them apprised of possible locations where the monster terrorist might be hiding. The radio contacts from this friend was a big help to Colt and his team. They had to face small groups of terrorists as they tried to find the main man. With each confrontation and experiencing wounds, their chances of staying alive and completing their mission got slimmer and slimmer. Colt's team had to deal with finding food and water while traveling on foot and trying to not be discovered. Getting a real good night's sleep was completely out of the question. They had to take turn guarding while some of them slept; and those trying to sleep were sleeping very lightly; mostly nod a little and wake until it was their time to guard. The more terrorist groups they confronted, the more likely some or all of Colt's team might not survive. Though their mission seemed harder with each new day, they were all determined to finish what they'd set out to do; no matter what the cost.
