This is a book that comes from the heart, both love and broken stages, that was born from the feelings of my heart and my soul. It is my, as the author, way of setting the path to deal with the loss of love and yet, the rekindling of that love down the line. It is a type of therapy, a type of healing, and a way to honor the past that cannot be fully regained.
This story actually started out as a way to illustrate to someone the importance of details, of the little things that make the story more personal for the reader as they are able to actually picture the scene better with more intimate details woven into the overall journey. Something happened as I began that story, it becoming more than what it was, and then, into this first volume, the second volume, and then a trilogy of sorts that brings it all round to the beginning.
I have worked hard over the years to try and bring the entire story from the written pages of those first several notebooks to the digital page of work to publish, though things have gotten in the way many times. Such is the way of life and the way of things that happen when you have a plan. Nothing is a straight path to the finish, always there are twists and turns, eventually bringing you back to the path you intended all along.
So as I know work to bring this path back to publishing the story I have dreamed of for years, I hope that it is heartwarming to you, that it connects a little to your soul, and you see the path I intended a little clearer as each page turns. I hope that you see the light of hope, the possibility of what could be, and you in turn find the peace that eludes others.
