Clare Stewart is no ordinary thirteen-year-old. Since an early age, she has been trained in the psychic arts by her spirit guide, who is also her deceased Aunt Miriam. Clare has a burning desire to become a writer, and during the Christmas school holidays of her thirteenth summer, she writes about her daily experiences and childhood memories. Over a six-week period, Miriam helps Clare to discover her past by dream travelling fifty thousand years back in time to the lost continent of Atlantis. Miriam is also preparing Clare for her future, when Clare will take her place in the world as a gifted psychic, and a spiritual advisor who will assist those in need of her supernormal abilities. Clare narrates her day-to-day life down under, and relates many humorous and anecdotal tales about colourful local characters and historical events. In addition, Clare learns about intuition, other dimensions, telepathy, and the meaning of dreams. For those interested in discovering more about the adventures of this teenage clairvoyant from the land down under, this book is one of the few resources available for younger readers which seriously considers the deeper aspects of the human psyche, as well as introducing the adult world of paranormal research in the format of a juvenile fiction.
