The story of Andrew Basiago is one of the most famous, emblematic, and discussed cases within the realm of so-called alternative history and theories concerning highly advanced technologies studied and tested in the military sphere but hidden from the civilian world. It is a story that quickly transcended the borders of the United States, being picked up and commented on worldwide by hundreds of publications, videos, and articles in specialized magazines, including Nexus.
Andrew Daniel Basiago, a civil attorney graduated from Columbia University, began making his extraordinary statements public starting in 2004, claiming to have been a chrononaut on behalf of the US government when he was just a child. His claims revolve primarily around an alleged secret program called Project Pegasus.
According to Basiago's account, Project Pegasus was a top-secret research and development program launched in the late 1960s under the auspices of DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency). The main objective of the project was to experiment with teleportation and time travel for military and strategic intelligence purposes.
Basiago claims that the government chose to use approximately 140 children (including himself, introduced into the program through his father, an aerospace engineer) because the minds and bodies of the young were deemed capable of enduring the psychophysical stress of temporal displacement better than adults, who risked madness or severe physical damage, as had already been encountered in 1943 within the framework of the controversial Philadelphia Experiment.
Although the scientific community and mainstream public opinion consider his accounts to be nothing more than conspiracy theories lacking documentary or scientific evidence, Basiago has continued for decades to present his testimony through conferences, radio interviews (such as on the famous show Coast to Coast AM), and sworn written depositions, always maintaining a lucid and detailed expository register.

After all, it is no longer a secret to anyone that in the military sphere (and especially within the numerous contracting companies in the US defense sector), highly advanced secret technologies-sometimes the result of alien reverse engineering-have long been tested and applied, of which the public is kept completely in the dark.
We live in an age of revelation, of disclosure, in which the heavy veils that for millennia have bedimmed the human being are falling one after the other; an era in which Humanity could finally emerge from Plato's Cave and discover that out there lies a whole world that until now has been precluded from us.
