A Choice Collection Of Tyneside Songs is a book written by Edward Corvan and published in 1863. The book features a compilation of traditional folk songs from the Tyneside region of England, which includes the areas surrounding the River Tyne in Northumberland and Durham. The songs in the book are written in the Geordie dialect, which is a local dialect of the North East of England. The book is considered a valuable resource for those interested in the history and culture of the Tyneside region, as it provides a glimpse into the lives of the working-class people who lived there during the 19th century. The songs cover a range of themes, including love, work, and social issues, and are accompanied by illustrations that capture the spirit of the region. Overall, A Choice Collection Of Tyneside Songs is a fascinating and insightful book that offers a unique perspective on the cultural heritage of the Tyneside region. Also Authored By R. Emery.
