CHIRO'S ADVENTURES: THE SECRET OF AREPAS - CHIRO AVENTURAS; EL SECRETO DE LAS AREPAS is a heartwarming bilingual tale that follows a lovable pup named Chiro on an unexpected journey of love, family, and cultural traditions. When a stormy night separates Chiro from his beloved grandmother and her magical arepas, he finds himself in a shelter run by Teo and his mom, Venezuelan immigrants who share the same passion for this special corn bread.

Through the power of his grandmother's secret Tipiton recipe, Chiro helps bring hope to the struggling animal shelter while bridging two cultures - Colombian and Venezuelan. Along the way, he makes a special friend named Pacha, discovers the true meaning of family, and learns that the magic of arepas lies not in who makes them better, but in the love shared when families come together.

This enchanting story celebrates:

  • The bond between grandparents and grandchildren
  • Immigration and cultural preservation
  • The power of food to connect communities
  • Animal adoption and compassion
  • Hispanic heritage and traditions
Perfect for children ages 4-8, this beautifully illustrated book includes a simple arepa recipe that families can make together, making it an interactive reading experience that celebrates diversity, family bonds, and the magical moments we create when sharing what we love most.

Join Chiro in this delicious adventure that proves home is wherever love and family are found, one arepa at a time!
