As a physicist, the author has particular interests in Chinese literature and history. After retirement, he got enough time to pick up his hobby in liberal arts. Starting from the language culture, then, to history and music. He spent several months on a paper 《Talking on Chinese Words and Characters》, in which he emphasized the beauty of the Chinese language, as well as the difficulties encountered in the digital age.
