There is a line in a chapter before a full metal armor sword fight at a Renaissance fair happens but after JBT is interrupted when cooking for Heather, where JBT and G are rappelling down a waterfall and G says, Safety first. A male friend who is familiar with Golden November novels but new to one changed his line to Safety second! We all fell over laughing because it is a genuinely accurate line for how November makes characters work for their supper. My favorite exchange in the entire book is the back-and-forth jabs between Tessa and Flower Rose, which is brilliantly delivered in November's single-line zings. This is, yet again, another winner for Milestoneville and was a blast to play act.

Where screenplays are usually adaptations of books and short stories that are littered with scene direction and lengthy column notes, November streamlines the experience with the skill of a seasoned director. I like the way the author pulls components from one book to the next because it genuinely lets their regular readers feel as if they know the characters. There's growth that evolves with each subsequent installment. I'm waiting for the next release and when it comes, I will be quoting JBT on it: I get first grabs.

In this interactive book in the Milestoneville Collector's Edition Book Series by Golden November, the crew is in a series of messes once more. Smith confronts GN about a mission mishap, leading to a meeting with Tessa. G arranges a fake book auction with Click Clack, Bookmark, Flower Rose, and June. Trapped at the auction, they face an unusual predicament. Sapphire discovers a valuable book with Cody and Buck. G and JBT plan a chaotic jump. Bookmark seeks Tessa out for a revenge operation. Tessa surprises G with tense results. Flower Rose seeks JBT's help, confronting Tessa, while June and G reminisce. The group searches for G and Dr. Yes, while G and June hitch a ride. Heather and JBT discuss the Chamel 1994 television series set where Heather is the lead actress. Author Golden November always provides our family with a dynamic experience led by their creativity. Over multiple books, I have come to know the characters and they continually surprise me. We were laughing so hard through an auction scene where a book is going for thousands. Between a helicopter saving everyone and a continuing auction where the next book looks like it might go for a whopping seven dollars; they keep talking about it while basically rappelling upward. It's hilarious! Another hit out of the jungle by November.
