It is worth asking what Western conceptual imports such as 'responsible sexuality', 'reproductive health' and 'family planning' mean for our society... Might they not be like icebergs, of which only the tips are visible? What might be the real motivations behind anti-natalist funding in Africa? These questions and so many others form the backbone of this reflection, which aims to be a contextual analysis of feminism and contraception as its corollary. If philosophy is presented as the analysis of concepts, then each concept must address a specific problem. In relation to this philosophical premise, it is worth asking what problem feminism seeks to address in the context of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. If the view is that there is no specific problem, then the concept of 'feminism' is attempting to tackle a false problem (as it does not exist or would not exist) or, to use scientific terminology, it is simply non-operational. It seeks to force the intellect, operating through the transfer or superimposition of problems, in order to move towards a single global mindset.
