Cernon's arrival in the Founder's Glade began a new era in human history. The Sophia Shaman journeys with Cernon. In a time so far back that time hadn't been invented yet, they enounter a tribe on the verge of extinction due to an encroaching ice age. Sophia sets out to help this new people. Then she realizes something profound - did she journey to discover Cernon's beginning, or was she called to create it? During a spiritual joining with the tribe's Vision Seeker, another seeker is awakened to the spirit world. Then the spirit seekers join with the spirits themselves in an unexpected joining. What comes of that union will alter the course of history - all the way up to a thousand years AFTER The Sophia has entered her own time in the Spirit World. This novella is intended to be the first point of contact for new readers to the world of R. Roderick Rowe.
