For example, the color-coded Goose represents the G on the bottom line of the bass clef. In the (optional) companion book in the series, Cello for Beginners of Any Age, Sight-reading Made Easy, the Goose lays Golden eggs right on that line - locking the note's staff position into memory.
In this book, the Goose leads you directly to both its homes on the fingerboard, with different illustrations and mnemonics for each position, locking the cello 'spots' in while also reinforcing your sight-reading.
