Jake Powell and his partner Billie Keene are together again and back in Las Vegas. A body is found posed in the middle of the Las Vegas valley. Next to the body is a limb from a different body. Jake and the Medical Examiner George Androcles are examining the body when the find a note left the person's hand. The note provides a clue to discovering where the next body is going to be left. The problem is the clue is vague and will require Jake and Billie to map out the valley and use Geographic Information to measure in what location the next body will appear. Inches can mean miles while the two detectives try to understand the Cartographer's system. Jake and Billie must figure out the map before more bodies are dropped throughout Las Vegas.
