In this novel a start-up company in South Carolina trains British Cream Golden Retrievers (Creamies) to detect diseases. In less than two years, the company's success changes the meaning of Medical Dog. The company, Caninesaviors, uses a novel device to train the dogs wearing a special collar to detect many diseases including 12 types of cancer. The dog's sense of smell is heightened to treat youths, age 2-12, teens with depression and Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome Disease (PTSD). The book details the requirements to get a canine-focused company in business using dogs which are less threatening but very capable in medical cases. The journey goes from a kennel in Scotland to the Texas border to a cancer institute in Baltimore. Six episodes are testimonial to the company's NOVACOLLAR's effectiveness. In the end, the combination of this service with a new cancer drug, CD-40, creates a cure with little or no side effects. The President of Caninesaviors is the Entrepreneur of the Year.
