This novel is about the growth of Socialism in America and how to stop it. It details how it enslaves the citizens to be dependent upon welfare programs initiated by the Democrats in Washington. A silent Second Civil War is taking place between the Republicans (Red) and the Democrats (Blue). After a national election, the Democrats consolidated total control of the citizens using labor unions, the courts, Congress, the election process and even the educational systems. The takeover was so complete that the Stars and Stripes were replaced with a new flag with a Black Panther on it. Like every other Socialist regime in history, it was unable to meet the citizen's demands ending in the Depression it started. The former Republican president is determined to create a successful Rescue Plan. He does so in a secure retreat in West Virginia. The Depression deepens and millions of Democrats switch to support him during the next national election. The Rescue Plan, based upon fundamental capitalism, returns to the guidance from the Constitution. The Stars and Stripes again flies over the most successful democratic experiment in world history.
