Jamie has been at summer camp for eleven seconds when the whole bus starts laughing.
The old entrance sign was supposed to say CAMP POCONO PINES. Thanks to a few missing letters, it now says CAMP POOP-and Director Bixby is not amused.
Bixby wants one perfect photo for the new camp brochure: clean cabins, neat hedges, beautiful flowers, and absolutely ZERO POOP. Then a dump truck unloads an enormous mountain of manure right before the photographer arrives.
When Bixby tries to move the entire mess in one overloaded camp trailer, the hitch snaps.
Now the POOP EXPRESS is rolling backward through camp-and straight toward disaster.
Packed with expressive illustrations, fast-moving slapstick, and a camp director whose spotless white socks do not stay spotless for long, Camp Poop is a hilarious read-aloud picture book for children who love summer camp adventures, ridiculous disasters, and just the right amount of gross-out humor.
A laugh-out-loud choice for:
- Children ages 4-8
- Family, bedtime, and storytime read-alouds
- Kids who love silly picture books and poop jokes
- Summer camp gifts and end-of-school reading
- Boys and girls who enjoy chaotic comedy and messy adventures
