If you purchase this book, understand that the photos inside are in fact, black and white. This was done so you can use the scientific names of the plants and do further research on your own. The reviews that have been posted concerning the black and white photos are a misunderstanding of the content. They clearly did not read the book, where I in fact, mentioned the purpose of this. This black and white value addition was done to combat the high cost of color ink.
