If you want a mystery that will give you an honest taste of the Florida Keys, including alligators and bodies hidden in mangrove trees, Bone Island Maggie, the first in this zany Key West mystery series, is your book. Murder in Windsor Park gives you reminders of that hilarious romp, plus more of delightful 70ish wanabee sleuth Maggie and Key West. -Michael Haskins, author of the MICK MURPHY KEY WEST MYSTERY SERIES
Bone Island Maggie is as classic a Key West character as you are likely to meet either in a book or strolling Duval Street. Her smile may be toothless, but her bite certainly isn't as she doggedly tracks down the brutal killer of an old friend. It's a zany romp that puts Maggie and her faithful ex-Marine chauffeur on a trail that runs from Alabama Jacks on Card Sound Road to the family paladares of Havana. The romp takes a serious turn when a shocking twist causes Maggie to deal with the loss of yet another friend. All-in-all a fun read. -V. C. Weeks, Code of Honor
