Bo plays golf

★ Part of the series: Bo & Flo's Sporting Adventures ★

Bo and Flo are a brother & sister bear duo determined to learn all there is to know about starting and playing a variety of sports! Join them on their journey as they discover what it takes to be a good sports bear on and off the field.

Discovering a set of golf clubs in a cupboard is the beginning of Bo's adventure in learning how to play golf. He needs to learn all about the importance of practicing, scoring, playing with friends and navigating the bunkers before he's got any chance of lifting the Woggle Cup. Do you think he can do it?

Beautifully written in rhyming verse, you'll enjoy chatting about the game as your child scans the colourful illustrations searching for the elusive Woggle Cup on every page. It's an interactive, light-hearted way to introduce children to the sport of golf.

Reading this book, you will learn:

  • The basic concepts of golf, including what a birdie, par, putt and pitch marks are
  • Why you need to practice when you want to learn a new sport
  • How to believe in yourself when things aren't going according to plan
  • How to have good manners and show sportsmanship on the golf course
  • And most importantly, that playing golf is fun!
