A girl new to the game of Simon Says takes it way too far and becomes the omnipotent ruler of a kingdom full of puppies and cakes in this hilarious picture book.

Fifi is a kid with a plan, in a world where some people have no appreciation for vision.

After being unwillingly forced outside during recess, Fifi is shocked to discover dozens of kids jumping, spinning and touching their toes, all at the same time. Why? Fifi's sister Leela explains the game (Simon Says), and soon it's Fifi's turn to play the part of Simon. Everybody waits to do as they're told. Fifi feels big, she feels powerful, she . . . has a plan.

By the end of recess, Fifi rules the playground with an iron fist, surrounded by cakes and puppies in a fortress built by her willing minions. But when the bell rings, how can she explain the mess to her teacher . . . and the principal?

Meet Fifi, recess's most delightful little despot, in this hilarious picture book that explores the nature of power and powerlessness.
