There is a reason it is never professional to date a client. Denise learned the hard way what happens when boundaries are crossed. She ignored all those ethical standards and followed her heart, only to regret it. Working at a housing center, Denise meets a client that scares her yet intrigues her at the same time. She is attracted to his mystery and darkness. Where others see a very disturbed man, Denise can see nothing but beauty. She tries to stay away but cannot help but be drawn to him. As they get to know each other, a personal and romantic affair begins. It must be kept secret since not only is it unethical, she is also already married. As the affair deepens, reality becomes harsh and attraction turns into an obsession. Something that started out as exciting quickly becomes something Denise wishes she never got herself into. Before she could find a way out of the darkness that her life had become, the relationship takes a tragic turn. Based on actual events, this story exposes a forbidden relationship in which Denise will never be the same again.
