Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Ethik, Note: 1,3, Universität zu Köln, Veranstaltung: Seminar, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit den Themenfeldern Bioethik, Menschenwürde, Behinderung und Vulnerabilität und es wird versucht, den Zusammenhang zwischen diesen Themen herauszuarbeiten. Zur Einführung in das Thema Bioethik beginnt die Hausarbeit zunächst mit einer Begriffsklärung, bevor näher auf die bioethische Debatte in Deutschland eingegangen wird und einige kritische Stimmen und Argumente zum Thema Bioethik erörtert werden. Weiter wird sich mich mit der Würde des Menschen, sowie mit der Frage, ab wann Leben als schützenswert gilt und woran dies festgemacht werden kann beschäftigt. Schlie lich folgt eine ausführliche Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema Bioethik und Behinderung, beziehungsweise mit der Frage, ob und inwiefern sich die Bioethik auf die Anerkennung und Akzeptanz von Behinderung auswirkt. Im letzten Kapitel wird dann der Begriff der Vulnerabilität untersucht, wobei sich unter anderem mit den Wechselwirkungen des Konzeptes Vulnerabilität und Behinderung auseinandergesetzt wird. Abschlie end folgt eine Reflexion der Fragestellungen und Gedankengänge, sowie eine Zusammenfassung persönlicher Kritikpunkte sowohl an dem Konzept der Bioethik, als auch an dem der Vulnerabilität.
