As was the case with her first book, Beyond the Ivy is a murder mystery that takes place at the fictional Wakefield University, located on historic Beacon Hill, in Boston Massachusetts. We return to Wakefield's campus, just a few months after the murder of Vice President Jack Doyle had rocked the school to its very foundation.
