The Butterfly Ward Chase Adams is an only child she lives very comfortable with her parents who give her lots of material things. This isn't what Chase is looking for what she wants is love which she doesn't feel as though she is getting from her parents as they are too wrapped up within themselves. A chance meeting occurs in Hyde Park London, England where Chase meets Spirit. Spirits life has been even worse than Chases with no parents and no secure finances. Spirit has been struggling to maintain the basics in life, she has also felt as though she has never been loved which is why when she meets Chase she considers it a reversal of her cursed blessings taking her out of her misery and bringing her happiness. Feeling alone Chase decides to act spontaneously and gos to New Orleans so she can find herself, and spend time with Spirit who she feels as though they met for a reason. Spirit who has had to look after herself since her Mum walked out is taken aback and overwhelmed by Corey Smalls who wants to take her under his wing to look after her. He shows her so much intensity she doesn't know if it's real or not. She really wants her and Corey to last but her intuition tells her it wont. Chase meets a guy called Michael who she really likes, but when she finds out her Father commits suicide she goes back to London leaving Michael behind. The reason for her Fathers death leaves Chase very confused making her not want to be around anybody. Michael falls in love with Chase he has never met anybody like her in his life so when she leaves he finds himself lost for a while making him question life. Through friendship all four characters find out that living in The Butterfly Ward everything is connected, and even when one of them departs memories still last. All of them are taught a lesson to always be aware of strangers as they may lead you to a destiny which was otherwise unknown. Chantelle Roberts
