Sam the Book Lady has her own story to tell. You may have read about her in the prior stories. Did you know that she was once an orphan? So, she becomes the book lady, leasing a building and running her own book store. The only proof she has is a small piece of jewelery from her dead mother. If you haven't read THE CHRISTMAS INN, Sam was in that story.

What happens when she meets up with a well-dressed man with an orphan who wants to learn to read and he doesn't think the child needs books in her life? For Sam, she has to give that child a reading education. This is her story.
