Longing to give one another the wealth of their desires, they exchanged messages, secret compositions that only they would recognize as code for their respective yearning. A fiction of the mind that lingered, more of an idea, better than the real thing. Alas, these where days in the sun, the sea which once or twice caressed their feet accompanied the rhythm of imagination, film within their words, promises in the labyrinth of feelings, hands that almost seem to touch yet never reach to realize their full desire. They were two only in thoughts and dreams, enough so, they could redact a play, where love reaches home never having been a stranger, a distant world beyond their own, wherein this love resides the victor, where dreams are more than book and song.
