A killer shopping cart story...
It's Devil's Night at MacroMart, and the annual inventory count has begun. The steel gates are down. The phones are in a basket at customer service. Nobody leaves until the count is done.
Something came in with the morning carts.
It waits until you are alone. By the time the overnight crew figures out why the Lost & Found is filling up with the belongings of people who never left the building, the cart has them trapped and the aisles have become its hunting ground.
Jane has a price gun in her hand, an envelope of quitting money in her vest, a best friend Kori who can't stop dating the wrong guys, and two years of crossed-out dates that were all supposed to be the day she walked out. On the same shift is Alex, a former breakfast cereal mascot fallen from grace, the sincere but clueless store manager Hank, pragmatic Bobby the Cajun butcher, and Brody, the assistant manager with a crush, along with a full cast of retail rogues. What starts as just another day at work becomes a fight for survival against an impossible terror.
It thinks. It hunts. It kills.
BLOODCART is Jaws meets Waiting as a hard-R horror comedy played completely straight, a workplace creature feature with slasher sensibilities, and a love story that keeps getting interrupted by people dying.
