BLACK DRONES OVER AMERICA: Strikeforce for the New World Order is an urgent investigation into how the black helicopters of yesterday evolved into the surveillance drones, artificial-intelligence systems, and automated targeting networks of today. In honor of investigative journalist, Jim Keith, Press Graye pays homage to his work by his research into BLACK DRONES.
The book begins with a personal encounter: a black helicopter flying low above author Press Graye's vehicle on a Georgia road in 2016. From that unexplained experience, the investigation expands into the hidden history of military aviation, domestic surveillance, police drone programs, facial recognition, autonomous weapons, data centers, and the government systems capable of following a person long after an aircraft disappears from view.
Drawing inspiration from Jim Keith's warning about black helicopters over America, Press Graye argues that the feared machinery was not abandoned-it became smaller, quieter, cheaper, and more intelligent. The helicopter that once announced its arrival with thunderous rotors has been replaced by drones capable of launching from rooftops, arriving before police officers, identifying faces, reading license plates, mapping associations, and feeding information into permanent digital archives.
The investigation moves from the battlefield origins of unmanned aircraft to the Disposition Matrix, targeted-killing programs, domestic police surveillance, artificial-intelligence recognition systems, autonomous military technology, and the possibility of machines capable of interpreting-or inventing-their own orders.
What happens when every home, vehicle, protest, and citizen can become part of an aerial file? Who controls the information collected from above? And what happens when the machine watching the public no longer requires a human being to decide where it goes next?
Black Drones Over America is a warning about the arrival of a new kind of strikeforce-one that does not need to occupy the streets because it can watch them permanently from the sky.
